Family makes a great team
Star Sandar is a family-run garment factory by two passionate sisters – Daw Htay
Htay Aye (President) and Daw Kyi Kyi Nwe (Director), and capacity managed by U
Myint Aung (Managing Director). Our new generation is U Ye Khant (Director) &
Dr.Hnin Oo Mon (Project Director).
The factory was first was established in 2018 by this entrepreneurial family focusing
on growth, quality of service, meeting business demands, and with an eye for new
business opportunities and growth.
President Daw Htay Htay Aye serves the Myanmar Garment Manufacturers
Association (MGMA) as the Treasurer and U Ye Khant is also one of the EC members.
They are actively involved in supporting the growth of MGMA and represents the
industry in dealings with relevant government ministries and other stakeholders –
domestic and international.
